Visa Application Process
After being admitted, it will be necessary to obtain a student visa before entering Japan. It normally takes about one to two months for the bureau to issue it. Immediately after Nagoya University of Foreign Studies receives the certificate, it will be sent to the mailing address specified on the application form. It is advisable that you contact the nearest Japanese embassy or consulate to obtain further information concerning requirements for your visa application. Each student is responsible for obtaining a Japanese visa prior to departure for Japan.
