Communication Plaza
A white building with colorful accents located almost exactly in the center of campus, Communication Plaza is a beautiful facility with a sophisticated atmosphere. The first and second floors of this three-story building serve as communication spaces for students, compromising a Language Lounge, a branch of the MARUZEN bookstore, a Pasco bakery, and the Cafe:ju. In addition, CNN, BBC, and CS satellite broadcasting programming is continuously shown on a plasma display screen. Personal computers are available on the second and third floors. Mobile computers (portable and wireless) on the first floor are also free to use. The facility has many comfortable places students like to visit often. International students study on the third floor. Japanese and international students naturally interact with each other. The passageway to the adjoining library is lined with round tables with white umbrellas, where many students enjoy eating lunch in the open air. Students greatly enjoy campus life at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies.
