First Graduation Celebration after resumption of the UCR Disney Program

The first Graduation Celebration since the resumption of the UCR Disney Program, suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, was held on Wednesday, November 29th at Walt Disney World (Orlando, Florida, USA).

All 24 NUFS students from the first semester of 2024 attended the ceremony, as did international students from France, Italy, and other countries worldwide. Participants cheered every time a certificate of completion was handed out to each student by University of California Riverside (UCR) Director Lisa Miller, and they enjoyed taking photos after the ceremony. It closed with a cheerful atmosphere, in a very "Disney" way.
In this program, students will experience multiple jobs during their six-month paid internships at Walt Disney World, like selling goods in the park, providing guidance at attractions, and working at directly managed hotels. Everyone could see and was impressed that our NUFS students worked energetically as if they were not merely “International students” but rather regular employees.
