On Saturday, October 5, an exchange event, “Quiz & Photo Rally in Kyoto Arashiyama Area” was held. A total of 167 students (86 international students and 81 NUFS students) participated in the event. They were divided into 44 teams of about two international students and two NUFS students each. Together, they explored the Kyoto Arashiyama area, which is dotted with famous sightseeing spots such as the Togetsu Bridge, bamboo groves, and Seiryoji Temple. The participants were able to deepen their friendship by searching for the designated spots and answering quiz questions in Arashiyama, which was unseasonably warm for October.
This event has now been held five times and has become popular with many international students and NUFS students participating. In addition to quiz and photo rally events, the NUFS International Office hopes to hold other exchange events on campus to promote interaction between international students and NUFS students.
