In April of 2004, the School of Contemporary International Studies
opened its doors. It consists of two departments, Department
of English and Contemporary Society and Department of Global
Business, and both departments share the same fundamental devotion
to a curriculum that promotes internationalism.
As a good command of English is fundamental to the international person,
the school of Contemporary International Studies has created a course
of study that will maximize the development of this skill. But it is
even more important to impart to our students the ability to make good
choices once in the workforce. Our philosophy at the School is to foster
in our graduates the confidence that they can succeed to the best of
their potential no matter what situation they may face. We further hope
our students will acquire through our varied curriculum the true spirit
of internationalism.
