School of Foreign Studies

Global communication in the School of Foreign Studies
Our goal is to develop human resources with high foreign language proficiency and broad knowledge.

The School of Foreign Studies is evolving towards the development of global human resources

Looking at society in recent years, we have entered an era of multilingual and multicultural coexistence in a globalized society. Thus, at NUFS we are evolving education itself by introducing a new educational system in the School of Foreign Studies to redefine the ideal university of foreign languages. The new system reconfirms English as an international language from cosmopolitan perspectives, and places importance on eleven other foreign languages while focusing on plurilingualism and world-class liberal arts. In order to appreciate, understand, and accept various world cultures, students will learn cultural diversity while studying not only English, but also eleven other languages. The School of Foreign Studies is striving to develop students as global human resources who will utilize their education and participate in the era of multilingual and multicultural coexistence.
