NUFS has a special scholarship opportunity for all international exchange students in order to ease financial concerns and to foster international exchange activities. Please make sure to read "Regulations Governing Nagoya University of Foreign Studies Non-Degree Exchange Student Scholarships" before applying for a scholarship.

NUFS Scholarship for Exchange Students
　Allowance: 60,000yen per month
　Period: the maximum 12 months, during students have been on the register in NUFS
　　　　　　* Only for the months students are in Japan.

NUFS may also offer another scholarship to international exchange students. It's the Student Exchange Support Program (Scholarship for Short-term Study in Japan) sponsored by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). This scholarship is not provided every year. Upon receiving information on available scholarship from JASSO, NUFS will select eligible students and provide them with detailed information. Only students who receive the recommendation of NUFS can apply for this scholarship. This scholarship recipients will not be able to receive NUFS Scholarship for Exchange Students.
